About Illuvium Deathmatch
What is Illuvium Deathmatch?
Deathmatch is Illuvium's permadeath PvP arena. Players field their Illuvial NFTs in ranked matches — but here defeat is final: a losing Illuvial is burned on-chain and gone forever.
How does permadeath work?
When an Illuvial loses a Deathmatch, the game reports the death and the token is transferred to a burn address on Immutable zkEVM. The NFT is destroyed permanently — it can never be traded, fused, or fielded again.
What happens when an Illuvial dies?
Its owner loses the asset for good. The kill is credited to the winning hunter as a 'soul', counting toward the Skulls & Bones hunt and the Graveyard leaderboard.
What is the Graveyard?
The Graveyard is your personal record of Illuvials lost to Deathmatch — and, through Skulls & Bones, the souls you've collected. Connect your wallet to see your standing.
What are Skulls & Bones?
Skulls & Bones is Deathmatch's soul-collection meta: every Illuvial you defeat is a soul on your tally. Complete sets across species and finishes to climb the Graveyard leaderboard.
Where do these numbers come from?
Every figure here is aggregated from public on-chain burn data and the Deathmatch games feed — no wallet connection required to read the ledger.
